The D7 is Pudu's move from delivery trays into general-purpose service manipulation, and its design reflects a pragmatic reading of where humanoids actually fail. Rather than a bipedal walker, it pairs a human-like upper body — bionic arms, 30 degrees of freedom expandable to 50 with specialised hands — with an omnidirectional wheeled chassis. The result runs for over eight hours continuously, where legged humanoids manage two, and sidesteps the balance and safety problems that keep bipeds out of live venues.
