About the PUDU D5 Industrial Quadruped Robot
The D5 is Pudu's answer to the one thing its wheeled delivery robots cannot do: stairs. Built for all-weather industrial duty, it cruises at up to 5 m/s, clears 25cm steps, climbs 30° inclines and descends 45° ramps, and seals to IP67 with cold start at -10°C and an operating range of -20°C to 55°C. The sensing package is unusually heavy for a quadruped — dual 96-line LiDAR as standard with a 192-line upgrade, four fisheye cameras for 360° perception, and a six-microphone array — feeding a dual NVIDIA Orin + RK3588 architecture rated at 275 TOPS. At WAIC 2026 it was demonstrated being guided autonomously by Pudu's D7 semi-humanoid, which is the real strategic point: Pudu is building a mixed fleet under one software brain rather than selling isolated robots.
