About the Unitree 4D LiDAR L2
The L2 is Unitree's second-generation 4D LiDAR and the current sensor in its robot lineup, sitting above the $249 L1 at $419. Like the L1 it undercuts conventional industrial LiDAR by an order of magnitude, which is why both units turn up on third-party robots and research rigs that have nothing to do with Unitree's quadrupeds. If you are building on an existing L1 integration the L1 remains available; new builds should start with the L2.
